iPLS sp. z o. o., Warszawa (PL)

The small & medium enterprise iPLS sp. z o.o. was founded in 2005. IPLS delivers intelligent electronic devices like smart meters, RTUs coupling units and bridges to the Polish industry for creating distribution line carrier (DLC) communication on low and medium voltage lines. IPLS offers engineering, consulting, development delivery pilot plant for component testing in existing grids. IPLS cooperates with the E-meter producers in Poland and independent research centres. Pilot plants with DLC communication technology, smart meters and RTUs are present tested in installations on the MV and LV level. iPLS will adapt its remote terminal units to IEC 61850 communication based on various physical channels.

Michael Marschollek (1944)
is the CEO of iPLS sp.z o.o. He received his diploma degree in engine building technology at the Technical University of Frankfurt in 1966. He started his professional carrier in the chemical industry and in the nuclear sector. 1992 Mr. Marschollek became a consultant of RWE to support their market entrance in Poland and other East European countries. Between 1996 and 2005 he worked as an independent consultant. In this position, he was the representative of RWE in Poland until 2005. Since 2005 he is in the current position and was strongly engaged to grow the new founded company on the base of advanced communication and meter technologies.
